Fleur du Mal was born and brought up in Derby, in the Midlands, which is where she is currently based.  With a long standing interest in all things artistic, she has been dancing in some form or other since she was around two years old.  Early on in life she took to the stage and took up acting, and soon realised that performance was her forte and her great love.  Eventually she combined her favourite elements of acting and dance, sprinkled in a little of her own imagination, and took up the mantle of burlesque.

Having many years of experience in both acting and dance, Fleur is a talented and competent performer.  She is able to use different styles for her different acts.  Her traditional burlesque acts, for example, character pieces full of cheeky humour, showcase her love of acting.  Her dance skills are utilised in her more classic, elegant routines.  This all adds up to make Fleur a performance artist who can turn her hand to many a different style with ease.

Not only a stage performer, Fleur is also an aspiring photographic model.  A chance discovery that she was actually quite good at it has overcome years of camera-shyness, and Fleur has developed (excuse the pun) a healthy interest and is currently building her portfolio.  Her speciality is vintage style pinup, but she doesn't say no to a bit of darker themed work as well.
